Tunisia: Increasing Accountability and Countering Financial Crime

In October 2017, NCSC was awarded a grant by the U.S. Department of State to support Tunisian efforts to increase accountability and strengthen efforts to counter financial crime. The program will provide technical assistant and training to the specialized Judicial Financial Pole to improve its capacity to effectively investigate and prosecute financial crimes, strengthen organizational and administrative operations, and promote ethical standards. The program leverages NCSC’s existing partnership with Tunisian justice sector counterparts to improve the administration of justice.

The two-year program is funded by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) through the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).
