Nigeria: Showcasing Best Practices in Court Administration and Technology

From September 20-22, 2017, NCSC and partner NCMG International, hosted a study tour on U.S. court administration and technology for a judicial delegation from Nigeria. The delegation was comprised of trial and appellate court judges from across the country.

The program was designed to strengthen the delegates’ ability to manage their courts by exposing them to best practices in court governance and administration, and the use of court technology to optimize the administration of justice.

During the study tour, the delegates received presentations on court administration and caseflow management, court governance, court performance measures, and court technology. The delegates said that they found the study tour very useful, and that the knowledge they received would assist them in the administration of justice.

NCSC regularly hosts international delegations at its offices in the United States. For more information on training programs offered by NCSC, please visit www.ncsc.org/Education-and-Careers.aspx.
