Central America: NCSC supports Central America Regional Security Initiative

NCSC has established offices in Panama, Guatemala, Honduras and Belize to support the U.S. Department of State justice and security sector training programs in Central America. NCSC will provide travel and logistics support for training programs funded by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. The project is conducted as part of the U.S. governments’ Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI). The CARSI initiative aims to produce a safer and more secure region and prevent the entry and spread of illicit drugs, violence, and transnational threats to countries throughout the region and to the U.S.
