Bosnia and Herzegovina: Mock Trial Program

On June 21-22, 2018, NCSC in cooperation with YIHR BiH organized a two-day training-of-trainers (TOT) program on Mock Trials for professors from four high schools in the cities of Sarajevo and Banja Luka.

The TOT was delivered by professional education consultant, Ms. Sanja Vlaisavljević, as well as members of the Mock Trial Program team. The workshop involved practical training for teachers on how to prepare students for mock trial competitions. The training was well received by the participants, and resulted in constructive comments and suggestions for curriculum improvement.

The mock trial training will be implemented in the selected high schools in September 2018, and a final mock trial competition will take place mid-December 2018. The top four students from all four high schools will be invited to participate in the final mock trial competition.

The Mock Trial Program is part of the Student Law Practicum Program (SLP). SLP is a two-year project funded by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
