Tunisia: Enhancing Administrative Court System

In July 2018, NCSC was awarded a sub-contract by the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) to strengthen court administration and communication at the Tunisian Administrative Tribunal. The three-year initiative is a component of a broader ILAC program to strengthen justice sector capacity and improve access to justice in Tunisia and Libya, funded by the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).

The program will support effective management of administrative services at the Administrative Tribunal, develop communication protocols within the administrative court system, and train administrative court clerks and judges on communication skills. The program is informed by an Assessment of the Administrative Tribunal, which was conducted by NCSC and ILAC in January 2018.
