NCSC International is always looking to expand its pool of qualified consultants. The first step: register as a new member.
In the recent past, NCSC International has expanded beyond providing short-term assitance and highly targeted programs to establishing full-service, in-coutry offices staffed by experts and administrative staff.
In-country programs combine the expertise of staff working on the ground with that of NCSC staff based stateside in Arlington and Williamsburg, Va. NCSC International supplements the in-country and home office staff by drawing upon technical resources of short-term consultants, who were identified through both NCSC International's extensive database of experts and its close ties to domestic and international legal communities.
Most NCSC programs include a training component that builds in-country capacity of institutions or training centers to provide sustainable training capabilities in continuing legal education, court administration, curriculum development, case management, ethics, preservation of evidence and investigative techniques, orality and adversarial skills, judicial opinion writing and other areas.
NCSC's training programs focus on practical, hands-on adult education methods and adopt a train-the-trainer strategy to ensure replication and sustainability in the shortest time.
