Morocco: Improving Human Resources Management in the Justice Sector

Since January 2018, NCSC has delivered trainings on key management competencies to personnel from the Moroccan Ministry of Justice, including on the topic of human resources. During these workshops, participants learn about essential skills such as the use of communication skills to improve daily work, emotional intelligence, relations with citizens, time management, and decision-making paradigms. Ministry personnel learned how these techniques could be applied to their own work environment and result in better relationships between colleagues, managers, and citizens. Participants took part in practical exercises and role-playing games illustrating how these concepts could be applied to everyday scenarios. Since the trainings began in January 2018, 190 ministry employees attended trainings on human resources topics, including 80 between October and December 2018.

The Justice Sector Management Training Program is implemented by NCSC under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
